Bobcat Lodge is a fabulous individually owned house set on one acre of private land and is built on the edge of the ski slopes of Mountain Village in Telluride offering not only commanding views of the mountain range but has the unique advantage of a ski-in ski-out holiday. Ralph Lauren artifacts and antiques decorate this large traditional log cabin home with all the modern comforts to be home away from home.
While Telluride may be a great place to relax and do nothing at all, it is also an area with lots to do.
Whether you are an intellectual, or hard-core athlete, or something in between, the Telluride area can probably satisfy all your desires. It offers world-class festivals and events as well as world-class sporting venues. All of this is nestled in some of the most spectacular environs in the world.
Restaurants
Of course there is also the shopping and the eating. There are plenty of unique boutiques and enough restaurants to satisfy even the most discriminating of palettes.
If you are planning a family holiday with children, then Telluride should certainly keep them entertained and happy! A variety of fun things to do are available in Telluride and Mountain Village. Family Room
On opening the front wooden door and entering the family room, (through the large windows which occupy one whole side of this room) you will be greeted by a breathtaking view of the mountain range (most spectacular at sunset).
This room has been fully furnished with Ralph Lauren rich brown leather sofas, soft cushions and a coffee table featuring a large Remington bronze statue of four cowboys on their horses.
A fully functional fire place is available to warm the room up during those cold winter days.
Bedrooms
The Bobcat Lodge offers five bedrooms that sleep up to 14 guests. On walking up a series of small steps are two large Master Bedrooms all housed in their individual areas allowing total privacy. Each room is beautifully and tastefully decorated with Ralph Lauren silks and wools and antique furniture.
The main Master bedroom has a rich leather Ralph Lauren raised king-sized bed, a private balcony, an en-suite bathroom with a steam shower and sunken bath, and a large walk-in closet. Satellite TV and DVD is provide in both the rooms.
The other Master bedroom which holds a beautiful wooden Asian style queen size bed also has a large walk-in closet, en-suite bathroom, with a steam shower and sunken bath.
Down a level of stairs from the Sitting Room you will find the relaxed and fun childrens' room housing 6 bunk beds decorated in Ralph Lauren denim comforters with red, blue and white sheets with the true American feel of a fun play room. There is an en-suite large bathroom with a steam shower, sunken bath and a walk-in closet.
To the lower level are two further bedrooms one with a king-sized bed and the other with a queen-sized bed both having wonderful views of the mountain range and have access to the front garden by access to their own private porches. There is one bathroom on this level with steam shower and bath. These two rooms are separated by a relaxed television room, again all the fabrics are from Ralph Lauren and the floor is covered with comfortable sisal. Adjacent to media room is a warm wooden panelled ski-in boot room with lockers, boot warmers and ski racks ready for the day on the slopes.
Kitchen
To the right of the dining area is a fully functional open planned and up to hotel standard kitchen catering for all the luxury style with every possible amenity.
Leading on from the kitchen is the Laundry Room with American standard washer and dryer. Beyond the Laundry Room is a car park suitable for two cars. In the garage there are two mountain bikes available for our guests who wish to adventure out on the paths of Telluride mountainous region.
Entertainment
Nestled between the two master bedrooms is the Media room which over looks the living room in an open planned environment. This room houses a very large TV, DVD, Video and sound system. This comfortable room is the idea spot to play chess or cards whilst taking in the beautiful views of the mountains.
A second Media Room can be found at the ground level, with comfortable couches, a large screen TV and DVD player. Next to the downstairs Media Room is the ski-in/ski-out area, complete with lockers, cubby holes and plenty of room to change out of your gear.
Study
There is a set of spiral staircases leading from the Media room which takes you to the study. The room is suitable for any business needs and comes with a fax machine, photocopier, printer and cabling for anyone wishing to bring their own computer with them.
