Duirinish Lodge stands in a spectacular position with breathtaking panoramic views across the sea to the Isle of Skye, including the whole of the Cuillin mountain range, Isle of Raasay, Applecross and Torridon.
The lodge was built in 1936 and offers very comfortable accommodation. All the main reception rooms have the benefit of wonderful views to the west including the recently extended drawing room, which opens directly onto a courtyard. The kitchen/breakfast room is fully equipped with an AGA and state of the art equipment and facilities.
There is accommodation for 10 on a self-catering basis. This includes a guest wing, which can be either fully integrated with the main house, or alternatively used by a couple, small group or live-in cook. It is fully equipped to the same high standard as the rest of the Lodge and can be completely self-contained. The Lodge has full central heating throughout. There is a separate game room equipped with pool table, darts and a hi-fi system.
Duirinish Lodge is a perfect location for holidays –be for walking, exploring the area, or just for ‘getting away from it all’ to a secluded and tranquil location for relaxation.
The private woodland and gardens extend to 18 acres. There is a summerhouse that has been built at the highest point of the property, giving panoramic views all round.
Plockton, 2 miles from the Lodge, is an exceptionally picturesque fishing village, and has a pub, a general store and other facilities.
