Birse Castle is extremely comfortable and is situated in its own grounds on Deeside in the historic Forest of Birse. The Castle enjoys a stunning Highland setting with views over open moorland yet is only 25 minutes from both the town of Banchory and charming village of Aboyne. Aberdeen and its international Airport is only 1 hour away.
Birse Castle is found in the ancient Forest of Birse and was restored from a ruin at the beginning of the twentieth century then extended in 1930 with the addition of a three storey and attic wing. Recently the Castle has been refurbished to provide sympathetic but very comfortable modern accommodation.
Accessed by a single track road and surrounded by heather moorland and pinewoods, Birse has a genuinely highland feel but is only twenty minutes away from both the nearby town of Banchory and the busy village of Aboyne.

Situated on Deeside the Castle is conveniently located for the Whisky and Castle Trails in the region with a number of excellent golf courses within easy striking distance.
The Castle has open fires and full central heating. Logs, gas and electricity are included as is all linen. The castle is let with the services of a cook and housekeeper and all meals will be included in the rental.
