A superb traditionally built log house situated in a remarkable position overlooking Loch Torridon, on the west coast. The lodge was built in 1992, to a very high specification by French-Canadian master craftsman, Donald Ouellet. Hand crafted 100 year old Caledonian pine was used from the estate. The sitting room is open plan with a log burning stove providing a warm and glowing focal point. From the terrace, one can see the entire sweep of Loch Torridon to the north with Ben Alligan behind and Liathach to the east. Ben Damph is to the south. Otters, eagles, red deer and Soay sheep are often to be seen. The 14,000 acres of the Ben Damph Estate that surrounds the log house include mountain, woodland, fresh water loch and sea shore. For the fisherman there is excellent early-season brown trout on Loch Damph (15lb brown trout caught on size 10 Black Connemara April 2002!) The lodge is situated well away from either a road or other dwelling house and is ideal for families. Rental are from Sunday to Sunday.
