Dining at Archerfield
Is it to be black tie and little black numbers? Or chinos and polo shirts? Fancy having breakfast at noon? Or making yourself cheese on toast at 2am? It's your call. It can be as formal or as casual as you'd like. Set your own routine, or make it up as you go along. The correct etiquette is the one that makes you and your guests feel most comfortable.
The dining room is almost infinitely adaptable. One long table? A scatter of smaller ones? A combination of the two? And, in the morning, you're welcome to relax round the kitchen table with a fresh croissant or the full Scottish breakfast.
The Dining Room within Archerfield House comfortably sits 50 people.
Meeting Rooms

From its inspiring architecture to the special breed of hospitality, the perfect atmosphere will be created for you to relax, concentrate, so you can think more clearly, meet more productively and, of course, get a round or two of golf in too. Board dinner, blue-sky think-tank, exclusive product launch
.. Archerfield House is business, but not as usual.
At Archerfield, it's definitely not golf as usual. It is not not about clubhouse cliques, old-fashioned dress codes or petty rules. After all, this is the 21st century.
More relaxed, more welcoming, more about you, and your enjoyment of the great game of golf.
Fidra Links
The Fidra course is an inviting mixture of pine
forest and a fast-running Scottish links. A
formidable par 72 featuring four sets of tees,
the greens are generous in size but fiendishly
subtle in their contouring.
The bunkering is understated but punishing if you land in the wrong position of the tee. With a number of greens nestling in quiet, secret corners, the course winds its way out to the beach at Yellowcraig, where commanding views of the Firth of Forth and the coast of Fife await. An exacting links course of contrasting terrain it offers an ideal challenge for all levels of golfers.
Dirleton Links
Compared with Fidra, the Dirleton is a more
traditional Scottish links with sweeping fairways,
deep menacing bunkers and undulating sand
dunes bordering each fairway.
Situated close by historic Archerfield House this world class golf course winds its way inland to Dirleton village, offering picturesque views of Dirleton Castle, Dirleton Kirk, Berwick Law and the Isle of May. Played over land that was used for golf for over five centuries, the layout is firmly rooted in the long history of this remarkable place.
Archerfield Links location means it is on some of the best golfing land in the world. Archerfield Links could become the jewel in the crown of East Lothian links courses.
"The 12th hole of Fidra Links is one of my favourite holes, but I'm sure over time you'll come to find your personal favourites".
