Arisaig House is set within 19 acres of landscaped gardens and woodland giving majestic views across the Sound of Arisaig towards Moidart.
Arisaig House is available on an fully catered, exclusive use, basis for larger parties. With eight large luxurious en-suite rooms and two rooms that share a bathroom the main house has accommodation for up to 20 guests. There are an additional six, comfortable, self-catering properties enabling you to sleep from 18 to 50, making Arisaig House perfect for a family gathering, a group of friends or that very special wedding venue. The terraces are ideal for outdoor suppers and the walled gardens provide a variety of fresh produce which, along with the lobsters from the creels, supply you with a feast fit for a king.
Log fires in the public rooms, the ultimate place to relax and enjoy a whisky.
The main house has eight double bedrooms en suite with excellent public rooms for dancing, banqueting and receptions. For bigger numbers, more accommodation can be added as required - at the last count up to 50 in comfort and space for a marquee for up to 250 guests!.
The oak staircase in the Hall is a special feature and oak floors throughout create a connecting theme; two rooms can be opened up to form a huge gathering area for dancing and entertaining. The Morning Room and the Bar (looking out on the Rose Garden) have quiet corners for reading and contemplation; alternatively puzzles, games or the music system. A friendly inner hall greets you on arrival and one press of a small bell announces your presence. From then on, you are at home!
There are three apartments within the main courtyard including the Clock Tower and three houses within the gardens which have been converted and fully equipped to a high standard for self-catering; 1-2 bed apartments up to 5 bed cottages and houses. Self-catering is sometimes an option when family demands are many and various or perhaps when peace and quiet with a book or the iPod are all one needs.
The Dining Room of Arisaig House is always on call given reasonable notice. Breakfast ingredients and welcome hampers can be provided along with bed linen bathtowels; and dogs and children are more than welcome.
In an area of outstanding natural beauty activities range from hill walking, train spotting, kayaking, mountain biking, skiing, boat trips, fishing to reading a book - there is something for all the family.
There is also a tennis court and croquet lawn within the grounds aswell as a billiard and games room in the house for guest to use at their leisure.
With walks along the pebbly shores, beautiful sandy beaches to explore and munros to bag there is plenty to keen you busy.
