Wyvis Lodge is the ultimate remote and relaxing Highland retreat. It has one of the most breathtaking locations at the head of its own glen, accessed by private road.
YOU SAY...
We had a most enjoyable stay at Wyvis. We all loved the house and thought that the setting is stunning. We were very well looked after by Scott and his stalkers, and Marie ensured that everything was in order in the house. I really am unable to think of anything that was amiss with the arrangements.
We would also like to say how wonderfully our chef, Laurie Mill, looked after us for the week. The food was excellent including homebaked bread every morning, a cake for afternoon tea and a varied 3 course meal every evening. He even entertained us, playing the bagpipes and guitar. He did ask that we pass on his contact details to you and we are more than happy to recommend him.
We would thoroughly recommend Wyvis as a beautiful and isolated location to spend a week at, where you can really get away from it all. Please pass on our thanks to all the staff at Wyvis who helped to make our stay so enjoyable, along with all the staff at your office who ensured that everything was so well organised

We had a very good time at the Lodge. The arrangements at the Lodge were perfect. Marie and her team do a fabulous job and are extremely cooperative with any requests we make. Scott was great also. He took us stalking, spent an afternoon doing some target shooting with the children and was very friendly and great fun.
The fishing was a little disappointing (two fish over the whole week) but ok.
It was very nice to have the boat on the loch.
You have a very good team there. Could not be more helpful, efficient and friendly.

Just to say we have just had the most amazing 2 weeks at Wyvis Lodge. Mhairi, the housekeeper and her husband Gordon made us so welcome and could not do enough for us. They were wonderful. The house was superb and the views breathtaking. We were so sorry when it came to going home. A very memorable holiday and birthday for my husband. Many thanks.

We thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay at Wyvis. The estate is beautiful, the location tranquil and very private. Marie and Gordon made every effort to ensure our stay was memorable and trouble free. You were right about the Hill Loch fishing, Loch nan Druidean fished spectacularly, we had fantastic sport on dry fly, Loch Coire Bheachain fished well given that it was howling on the day. The walk up was more than repaid by the views. It really is big country up there. All in all a great time had by all, relaxing and very good for the soul. Thank you for the recommendation and usual good service.

Our stay at Wyvis was fantastic. Things went really well and everyone had a great time. The lodge itself was beyond our expectations, the scenery was unreal at times and the prescence of wild life on the estate only added to the magic of the place. The housekeeper and her husband were brilliant, the location was magical, and fortunately the weather played its part. We will be back again in the future but next summer we'll be looking for a place in the Edinburgh/Fife area.
