"Thank you for all of your help regarding our stay at Ardgour House. The weekend was a great success; the house certainly outshone our expectations. We were also extremely lucky with the weather which meant that the party were able to explore the beautiful surroundings in the sunshine. "Sydenham house was ideal for our mothers 80th birthday celebrations. The house itself, although large and spacious was very warm and homely. The house is obviously a home and the personal touches around the house only added to the charm and made everyone feel at home as soon as we all set foot through the door. The fires were light and the central heating dispelled any fear of being cold during our stay. The games room was an instant hit with the family and the set up of the long dining table in the hall way meant the whole family enjoyed a wonderful meal together on the Saturday evening. The house was more than adequately stocked with cooking utensils, pots, cutlery and glasses etc which made entertaining all the more enjoyable. In fact we spent a good deal of time like all good parties in the spacious and well equipped kitchen. The bedrooms were airy and comfortable and the view from the front of the house was stunning. We would highly recommend Sydenham house to any prospective customer. Thanks again Dorcas for all your help in making the weekend such an enjoyable break, my mother will never forget her birthday celebrations and it will remain a wonderful memory for her Kind Regards Peter "
